Outside Cabin Door Handle

I was taxing in yesterday and a friend said my door handle was out and not flush with the door skin . The door locks and seals with no problem from the inside, is there a spring or something that holding the latch flush with the door. George

I have the same problem on a PA30 I an involved in. Any help would be appreciated.

Different problem with same parts. Hard time opening door from the inside. Mechanic took it apart, greased everything, all was well and is still well. It was very dry and I don't think it had ever had any attention.

The inside works great closes good and locks. I will get into the door this weekend and lube everything. I did call Webco and spoke to Phillip he is sending me a part that may fix the issue. I'll post if or if not the handle is corrected. G

I have exactly the same problem with my PA-24. Would like to know how others have fixed this problem so I can have parts available when I take the door apart.
