PA24-260B Main Wheel Axle Nut Cotter Pin Part #

Does anyone know what the P/N# is for the main wheel axle nut cotter pin on a 260B? I'm out of large ones and would just like to order the right ones to use but cannot find anything in the parts or service manuals. Google searches have been fruitless. Thanks in advance for any help and information.

It is considered a standard common part. Use a cotter pin that fits or one you can cut down to fit. There is no Piper part number for it.

Thanks Zach, pretty much had come to that conclusion but was also curious to see the part breakdown that showed the axle retaining nut on our 260B since it doesn't show that configuration in the parts manual.

If memory serves, I use something like an AN380-4-10. I am not at the hangar so I can't look at the bin, so don't be disappointed if that is not entirely correct. It might be a -5-10 as well.

Thanks Kristin, I got the diameter from a Lowe's cotter pin and just placed an order for the longest lengths I could get from Aircraft Spruce. Ordered several different ones along with annual supplies so hopefully I've got the ones that'll work.
