Another Twin Fuel Selector Issue

Another Twin Fuel Selector Issue

Postby cgbiggs » Fri Nov 04, 2011 3:41 am

In replacing my carpets I am looking at the fuel selectors (no tip tanks) after the cover is removed, (I have always felt that the selectors felt loosy goosy when they were moved), I see what looks like a threaded collar at the base of the selector shaft that appears to be in need of a thin washer and nut (kind of like on a circuit breaker)to hold the selector shaft tight to the plate it comes through. I have no nut or washer (maybe lost many years ago?) and I can't find any reference in the parts manual. Any ideas ot there? Thanks!
