Hi Gene and welcome to the ICS Forum. It looks like this is your 1st post. Haven't done a brake reversal on the Twin so I did a search using 'reverse brakes' in the upper right corner of this page and got 13 hits. You might look there as well as waiting for responses here.

Gene,

I had this mod done a few years ago on my 250 by my local maintenance shop. It is not that difficult; it does require the cutting out of a rib in the wheel well to make it work. I think I bought some small support pieces to rivet in place when this cut out is made; I am pretty sure that I bought these from Matt Kurke at Comanche Gear. I would call him and he will give you all of the info. Also I belive this was done under a 337 field approval. It is definitely one of the best speed mods you can do. I still have the double fork mains so the outside forks still hangs down a little. I am hoping to go to the single fork sometime next year. Matt Kurke would be my first call.

It is a procedure that needs a field approval. There is an engineering report floating around that helps get that. It is best to find a shop that has done this and can get the field approval. Where are you located?
