Part Number ID Help (MLG rod end bearing assy)

Postby David Pfeffer » Fri May 02, 2014 12:56 pm

Can anyone help me ID the part number of the MLG rod actuator rod end in the attached IPC figures? The rod end is shown, but no part number provided in the overall retract figure or in the MLG assy figure.

Thanks!!

hmmm, unless it's item 39 (P/N 452 377) in the retraction system figure. Item 39 calls out 4 rod ends. That may be it. Anyone replace this rod end that could confirm or supply a generic P/N?

Thanks!

David,

I see what you mean about the IPC. I think you are right about the P/N being what you reference since they shown 4 and one goes on each end of each conduit (so 4 total) so given all that I think you found the right number. I just did a gear refurb project but I didn't need to replace those - I just cad plated mine and I can say that they look the same on both ends. To verify I'd recommend you call Phillip at Webco and/or Matt Kurke at Comanche Gear. One or both of them should be able to tell you where to get new ones - in fact I bet Webco has them.
