You might find it interesting to read the articles in the Comanche TIPS, by Ray Frey, on how he installed a center stack in his 250. I think that he was the first to do this.
It is very, very labor intensive. I did it from his instructions about 20 some years ago. Took 30 days to remove the old panel, build the new panel and rewire all the radios.
