Anywhere Map

Postby Scott Ducey » Thu Oct 09, 2008 7:57 pm

Yes I am. I think it is head and shoulders above the Garmin hand held, and the best part is that it is much cheaper. I did not get the weather on mine, so I cant speak to that option. I also use the gps in the car as it has an automotive feature too. My 10 year old daughter also likes the little video games on it too! I have never been a fan of the Garmin hand helds as I can't stand that toggle that they have on them. The good thing about Anywhere Map is that you just use your fingers on the screen or a stylus. I hope this helps.

I have run anywheremap for years, also voyager on a tablet. great products, but when you need them the most in bad weather they sometimes have software glitches or lockup!! If you want something that will be there for you everytime, go garmin 496. I have used the others, and find it great to have the garmin that WORKS!!! I don't mind the buttons so much, not as quick as tablets, but never to lockup and always there and you can depend on it.
My 2 cents!!!
