Century III/Altimatic IIIC

Century III/Altimatic IIIC

Does anyone have a Century III/Altimatic IIIC installed in their twin under the STC? I am looking for a copy of the installation instructions. This is the autopilot with the four rocker switches in the control head. See photo below.

It is a long shot but have you tried Century?

The stuff we have has long been stabilized but Ken was able to download all the manuals. Might be worth a try or a call. I saw a III interconnect maunal here. http://www.comancheflyer.com/NS/cff_files/cf_ppp.htm

I have a Century II, IIB, III Service Manual in PDF if you'd like. I don't think it has installation instructions though.

Thanks! I have scrounged what I could find on the internet, but would like the installation instructions so I have approved data to make the installation. I do have the service manuals.

Kristin,
I have the same autopilot. I am not sure what manuals exist, but fortunately my airplane has very through records and only three or so owners. (PA30B turbo) I will look tomorrow to see if what you need may be there. I do not specifically remember seeing this information, but it may be there.

Chris,

I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am sure that I can get it from Century, but at a couple of AMU's.

Thanks for your help.

Kristin,
I don't think I have what you are looking for but would be happy to share anything I do have.
In the AFM I have the Edo-Aire Mitchell flight manual supplement per STC SA727WE.
Unfortunately no instillation instructions.
I also have a copy of the FAA 337 document for this instillation which has a list of the work completed to comply with STC.

Maybe you can find more information via Edo-Aire???

If any of this would be of help, please let me know. I can fax or email it to you.

Best of luck,
chris

Kristin,
One last note. The work was completed in 1983 by Southern Avionics & Communication in Mobile AL.
It's a long shot, but I googled them and they are still in business.
