QRH

Postby Harley McGatha » Thu May 15, 2008 3:53 pm

I can't imagine a twin owner that would not want one of these manuals. I was really impressed and am looking forward to getting one for my 260B.

Zach: Received my PA30 cockpit handbook yesterday. Let me compliment you on a job well done. This booklet should be aboard every Comanche as having the check lists, performance charts and specs for the specific model and modifications in handy format is a welcome first.

Al,
Glad you got it OK. The word is getting out, adn I hope to continue to ship them as fast as I can make them!

As for the single books. Stand by. There will be a notification when they are available. It will be Late 3Q of this year in all reality before they are done and shipping. Please watch here for all the info as things progress. Thanks.

Hi Zach,

I'm pleased to see you got the QRH out in the market. I hadn't heard from you since you sent me the changes you had made to the original one I emailed to you.

What graphs did you end up putting in? I never got that email you were going to send me about these. Did you get any drift down data in the end? I started working on this but got tied up with some other stuff and haven't got back to it. I can do this if you like.

Alan,
I assumed you got busy, and so I didn't press the point. I would love drift down data. It would be the only place to get that data of the pubs that I know of for the plane. Presently besides all the emergency and abnormal drills, I have included the basic performance stuff, Density Alt chart, Accel/Stop, T/O roll, T/O 50', Climb ME and SE, Cruise power, range and speed charts, Landing distance and clutter charts.

I might point out to all that Alan was the one that got this started with his sample at the the Tacoma Convention last year, and set up the initial template, so Al, don't give me all the credit. All the data and proceedures are published somewhere else in some form, it was just a matter of getting it put together and usable. It is still a pain in the you know what though!

Zach,

I will dig out the stuff I have and the stuff Lawrence sent me and progress it further. No promises on how it will turn out.

How do I pay you from South Africa?

Visa?

I'm in the US regularly, so shipping shouldn't be a problem.

Guys,
I can certainly make you up some books. Can it wait until after OSH? I can certainly get to it then. As for payment, I can do payment through PayPal with whatever source you set up on your end (Credit Card, Bank Draft etc.).
