2009 ICS FALL BOARD MEETING

The 2009 Fall Board Meeting will be held in Tampa, FL on Sunday, November 8, 2009. The date and location were chosen to coincide with the close of the AOPA Aviation Summit conference in Tampa, FL on November 7th.

Additional information (hotel, airport, etc.) will follow.

NOTICE: HOTEL UPDATE

The FBM will be held at the Springhill Suites by Marriott - Tampa West Shore Airport, 4835 W. Cypress St., Tampa, FL 33607
Phone: 813-639-9600 or 888-287-9400. The Hotel contact is Michael Taylor.

The room rate is $89 + 12% tax per day. Mention the International Comanche Society when booking. A block of rooms will be held until 10/7/2009. There is free pickup from TPA airport.

The Hotel is located approximately 15 minutes (5 miles) from the Tampa Convention Center (AOPA Summit) via I-275 North Exit 44. The Hotel Exit is 39.

I regret that I will be unable to attend the Fall Board Meeting as I expect to be cruising on the Yangtze River that day. I was prepared to forfeit the fees for this tour in order to attend a meeting of the ICS Board (who wouldn't?) but was overruled. Carol and I are looking forward to joining all of you in Dayton.
