Okay, this week I am getting back in the groove. Wednesday afternoon I fly the Cirrus SR22 with a couple of guys to Nassau for a meeting on the
3.4 billion dollar resort development the Chinese are doing there. We spend the night and then do a jobsite inspection during the day Thursday.
We return to Pompano Thursday evening thru Customs @ FXE. Friday morning I pull out N8871Y and fly to Indianapolis NEYE, with a possible pit stop
in Gainsville GA if needed. We will attend the Do It Best Hardware & Rental show ( I Iown Hardware Store) over the weekend and fly the return trip
on Monday. the Non-stop, direct Pompano to Indianapolis flight is 5:25 no-wind.
Two years ago I retired, attended the academy at American Flyers and got my CFI & CFII and taught at PMP the next full year, around 800 flight hours.
April 2012 I decided to expand and remodel my hardware store and spend one year working out the bugs. The year is up and I'm going flying !!

Wife and I just got back from a two week flying vacation with the Comanche 250. Flew from Atlanta to Amarillo, TX for a big steak dinner. Then down to Carlsbad caverns for a couple of nights. That's a big bat cave. Then off to Laughlin, NV to get a crap table fix. Then over to California and Yosemite NP for 4 days. Back east bound through Sedona, AZ. Then it was off to St. Louis to visit family and see how the production of the new grandaughter was coming along. Any day now. Finally home.

If your not speciffically needing a fuel stop in Gainsville, GA try Thomaston, GA. KOPN. Cheapest fuel in the Atlanta area.
