Carpet on the Nose Gear wheel well hump!

]Hi Folks,
I was wondering if someone had a good pattern for carpet for the nose gear wheel well hump inside the cockpit. I would like to recover mine and it looks like 3 separate bound pieces would give the best fit. If anybody has a old pattern I can borrow it would make it a lot easier.

I used airtex for mine and it came out pretty good. It did require some minor trimming. I had a local upholstery shop sew in a three slot pencil holder which is very convent. The hardest part is removing the old carpet and glue. I then installed with 3M contact cement.

Airtex is the way to go. Their pattern is right on and it is easy to install. I would recommend against using lots of glue. I have found that it is held pretty well in place with the items that bolt through the carpet on most planes (rudder trim etc.).
A little glue goes a long way when you need to remove it again for some reason!

I did manage to get a bit on myself as well as a "free one" from all the fumes
It really cleaned up the cabin though

The guy who did our interior used glued velcro strips - fabulously easy at annual to remove and clean carpet.

Thanks Folks for all of the good advice. I ordered the kit from Airtex and it should be here next week. Removing the TWO layers of old carpet was the big job. I'm pretty sure the first layer had been on there since 1964.
