Insurance for my PA-30

Insurance for my PA-30

Postby George Kretschmann » Mon Jun 24, 2013 10:57 pm

My insurance is coming up for renewal and found out the Aviation Program Administrator no longer represents Insurance company, what ever that means? Could I get some advise on some good companies that are reasonable, I hope this does not open up a can of worms. LOL....Kinda would like to know what everyone is using. All opinions welcome. Thanks George

I am not sure that I entirely understand your situation. I have never heard of "Aviation Program Administrator " in the context of buying insurance. My two questions are 1): Who is your insurance broker? That is the entity that sends you the bill. 2): Who is the actual insurer? That will be the name on your copy of the policy. If you can answer those two, I can give you some advice.

It looks like your broker is having a spat with your insurer. I would pick a new broker and ask if they work with Aggressive. You might get a better rate with another carrier, but you might not and if your current broker isn't going to work with them, then I recommend changing brokers.

I have had good results with Travers in St. Louis. I think they advertise in the Flyer.

My broker is Rob Nadr at NationAir:

Cell: (630) 200-8857
Office: (630) 549-3614

I'm quite pleased with the rate he was able to get me.

Good Luck,

Check Avemo. No agent fees. I've been with them for years and have found them competitive. "Can only be direct....
no agent involved.

What is the annual premium and for how much hull value. Mine is $4,600 annually for $200,000 hull value, PA39.

I believe the bulk of the premium is based on the hull value and whether or not you have replacement . That being said with premium/hull value to compare!!
