Original CHT Probes

I want to replace my original AC probes with new and use the original gauges. I have researched the forum and found some
discussions from 2002 in regard to purchasing the Rochester probes and a 3 amp 82 ohm resister to put in line with the probe.
The opinion seems to be that this works well with the original piper gauges. I wanted to know if there is any more current
advice or experience with this modification. Thanks,

is who did this work on my twin in 2005 and I'm still very happy. After you make this change, calibration is required so I left it to the pros who had all the equipment. Jim did mine and got it right the first time - took the test flight with me. If you chat with him or George, kindly tell them I said HI.
