Electric Fuel Pump Issue - Link From Powerplant Section

The below listed post is under Maintenance - Powerplant - please wander over there and take a look !

Thanks,
Dennis

Once again, the 'C' Model is special ! I've not been converted from the original Bendix to Dukes (at least, that's what I'm assuming happened), and I can't find anyone that will OH the Bendix pump. It apparently is seeping when sitting - not a huge issue, but annoying none the less. I think it'll stop if we just turn off the fuel switch, but I want to fix this thing.

So, options are OH the Bendix, or convert to Dukes. The Bendix option doesn't seem to be viable - no one on Partsbase (that we've called so far) will touch it. We've been thru Webco, Airparts, and CJ Aviation, and no one can help us.

If I had a Dukes, I'd be fixed already. So, we looked at the conversion kit, and it's no longer available. Next option - we can build it up with parts - EXCEPT for the clamp assembly (P/N 27224-00). If anyone has one of them, I'm in business.

I've got the guys calling out to Johnston in Tulare right now. Other than calling salvage yards (my next move), anybody got any ideas?

Thanks,

Dennis

When I had to change mine the clamp was an issue as well. The mechanic fabricated one and logged it as a owner made part.
