McFarland Teflon material for baffles

Thanks to Jim Covington I now know about McFarland Teflon material that they came out with a couple of years ago. He's in the process of putting on his Twin. Has anyone had flight experience yet? Does it really quit eating the inside of the cowls? Is there any difficulty with the relative thinness - about half the thickness of regular baffle material?
