Batterie concorde

Batterie concorde

Postby Pierre Hulin » Sat Aug 15, 2009 4:04 pm

I think about to replace my old Gill by a concorde battery. My aircraft is a PA 24 260 C. However I've seen the connections of the concorde are different of the Gill. Is it a problem ?

Thank you for any advice or suggestion.

Pierre,

I can only vouch for a PA39 - it fit well without changes but the Twin had the other mods.

Very happy with the battery performance.

Hi Pierre,

I have one in my 260B and it was a drop in replacement, no mods needed to the battery box mounted on the firewall. A gel battery is an upgrade from the old fluid batteries.

Good luck, Don

I can't answer your question as I fly with Gill. However be aware that the Concorde is ~ 1kg heavier.
