What the TC might have morphed into

Only because someone asked on the Delphi forum and I can't post a photo there. This airplane was I believe a follow on to the Twin Comanche. However one can see where the Malibu gets its identy from. Also shows the lower fin under the tail that one of our newer Comanche owners was inquiring if that was in kit form from Knots-2-U.

It was a pressurised single with an airstair door from memory. I think it had an unusual taxi characteristics and the test pilot taxied it into some new Aztecs. Pity, it was a real nice looking plane. One has to wonder that the Malibu might trace some of its ancestory back to this aircraft.
