Can anyone tell me if the two bladed prop inspection AD is still in effect? I know that several of you attempted to quash the AD with the FAA. Were you successful? Appreciate any and all help as the inspection is due. Thanks, John Underwood Colorado Springs

Depending on your prop & clamps, yes its still in effect.....I recently had a prop that had timed out & poor work from the previous shop with only 90hrs on it that was going to cost more than it was worth so I went with a new 3 blade. The bad news is the new prop & Gov. will get you for around $10,000. Good news, no AD (yet)

Thanks for the reply Doug... Guess I will take it off and make the trip to the prop shop. This is so stupid! But the FAA is the FAA, and I've gotta have it done. Have a great Thanksgiving, and enjoy the new 3 blade. John U.
