The gear warning horn definitely comes from the throttle cable position switch. It should come on when the gear is up and the throttle is pulled back to achieve approximately 10-12 inch Hg of manifold pressure. Just like a pressure switch directly on the manifold. This will also result in about 2000-2200 RPM. The switch, I believe, is adjusted on the ground by setting a gap spacing on the switch and a landmark. Check the Comanche Service Manual for this setting.
