Has anyone used the Aircraft Spruce "AveoAir Piper PN 05-05170 (sliver)" eyeball vents to replace the Grimes 10.0028-3 in a PA30. Looks like they are very close to the same dimensions, but not exact. Issue maybe mating the AveoAir with the round finish plate installed overhead for the back seat passengers.

You probably will have to make new backing plates.
