Carb to injection conversion

Hello all,
Working on converting our 0540 A1D5 to a IO 540 C1B5 to make our 61 250 fuel injected.
The plan is to comply with the type certificate for the injected 250's.
Does anyone have a copy of a 337 for this?
Looks like I can get all the parts needed for the conversion, but of course the first thing is to get the paper work in order, before we start any work. ANy help would be greatly appreciated

Andrew,
If you comply with the type certificate, and change all the parts that are required to be changed that are different in the parts manual between the O and IO installations, then it is a simple logbook entry. No other documentation is needed. Now, your aircraft has to fall within the serial number range that Injection was offered, AND every supporting part must be changed in accordance with the Piper documentation for this to be a valid and legal instal...otherwise you will be getting an field approval, and right now, if you are intent on doing this, start shoping for a DER to help you through this, as the FSDO will not touch it with a ten foot pole....

as always thanks for your help and devotion to ics. Serviceable used parts for this total bout 6500, + or-. In addition two of my cylinders are not machined for the injector. The boss is there, but they would have to be removed for the machining. It's an easy 10k project. Needless to say going to pull the plug. Just dosen't seem worth it. Instead going to get the dual exhaust from APP. I'm in the middle of converting to the single fork legs as we speak. So i got plenty to keep me busy for now.Do you think I should send a brief summary to the flyer? Or should I just post progress and pics here?

Certainly a Flyer article would be appreciated, but depending on how ambitious you are, a write up on line would also be helpful.
