Hi Barry,

I think it is most likely a vibration issue.

A short circuit would more than likely pop the CB.

I would try another type of bulb. We have had the same issue with the left hand bulb on our twin. Our engineer is thinking of trying another type of bulb.

Orient the filiment vertically, or spend the extra money and get a Q4509 or set yourself up with HID's.
