Hi
Just after take off, when I retract the landing gear, I can see the white light indicating the landing gear is in transit, after some seconds the gear motor breaker pops before the landing gear is fully retracted into the wheel wells.
At the workshop, I note coil of solenoid gear motor has broken.
After change this solenoid, I install the aircraft on jacks and connect an external power unit then I switch the landing gear selector to up. One more time, landing gear begins to retract and suddenly the gear motor breaker pops before the landing gear is fully retracted into the wheel wells. At this moment, the wheels are nearly into the wells.
After undocking push-pull cables on the arm gear retraction, I manually raise and descent the gear. I notice neither rough running point nor abnormal stress on a gear retraction tube and lever or on push-pull cables.
Technical control shows all gear switches were properly adjust and work fine.
The landing gear motor is new.
I have looked on Piper troubles shooting manual but no help has been found.
Does anyone has an idea and help me ?
Thank you and merry Christmas for everyone.
