Curtain hooks and track 'pegs'

Curtain hooks and track 'pegs'

Postby alhamco » Fri Nov 06, 2009 7:02 am

I am refurbishing my 260C (have had window trim mouldings for some time) now find to swap the tracks over I have to grind the old 'pegs' off. They dont seem to be listed in the parts book, only "Widow Curtains Installation (less cutains)". Has anyone ever had this problem and located new 'pegs' and plastic clips. The pegs are .062" dia shank about .375" long with a domed head .120" dia. They press through a flat steel clip about 1/4" x 1/2". I dont even know what they are called.

Different response than you might expect- I still have the old curtains in a bag somewhere but since I almost never used the curtains, I left them off.

In Texas I went with the custom reflective window shades, that weigh nearly nothing and fold to a slim package as they really hold the heat off the panel when the Twin is parked on the ramp out of town. At home, it is hangared.

Maybe a different way to solve your parts problem FWIW

I've got some broken pegs and I'd love to find some replacement ones.
Never found any, though.
Replacement with different type would mean replacing the rail as well...
The curtain on the door window had suffered the most and we've had to remove it.
