fuel selector malfunction

Postby paul » Fri Feb 20, 2009 2:28 am

Randy, just discovered that my pa24-250 is doing the same thing yours was. I went to the hanger to discover the floor
covered with av gas leaking from the inboard tank over flow drain. Checked the outboard tank and it was down about 4 inches from full. Just wondering what the turn around time was and a ball park price on repairs. Can the plane still be flown as it is if both aux tanks are drained until I have time to take the plane to the shop? Any oppinions would be appreciated. Thanks Paul.

I been having the same problem,Talked to webco and they said it is about a week turn around, cost from $225 to $400 depending on what wrong with it . Sounds like one of the ports needs to be repaired.
