Pat, are you running generators, or alternators ?

We run alternators, both overhauled with the engines in summer, 2005 and the right one is new courtesy of another issue.

Battery is gel and December 2005.

Pat,
If you decide to replace your voltage regulators, I recommend you check out Zeftronics. I replaced the voltage and over voltage regulators on my 260B 4 or 5 years ago and the voltage is very steady. I also had trouble burning out landing lights on a too frequent basis, even though I was using the quartz Q4509's. Since changing to the Zeftronic's electronic regulators, I have just last week changed the 1st Q4509 landing light after 350 hours and 4+ years .

Thanks Joe. I especially appreciate hearing the different electronic results in your plane. I've heard good things about Zeftronics - might even go visit since they are just about an hour east of us - good excuse to go flying.
