Nate what u'r doing is the typical flooded start,
"Throttle - Full In
Mixture - Full Rich
Prime - 4 seconds
IF really hot, just prime till bump in pressure gauge, do not over prime, can lead to fire i think, if see fire, keep cranking, shut off fuel by fuel selector, shut down master and depart aircraft w/ fire extinguisher, believe carburated is more susceptable, hopefully someone mechanically inclined chimes in on this, I'm not sure ...
Mixture - Full Lean
Hit Starter - Slowly reduce throttle to about 3/4
Mixture - Full Rich when engine fires
Throttle - Quickly reduce to not over rev engine

Once you hit starter , to prevent over rev, when she starts to catch, and she will with patience, I first start to bring throttle down to the 1000 rpm place, and then get the mixture richer, and no need to go full rich, cause u'r just going to lean her out for ground ops anyway? I do...so i only bring mix half way up

Engine seems to have been catching at about 3/4 throttle after about 4 seconds. Been pretty pleased with this system. Hope it works in front of a crowd.

It does, you put the engine in a known position, which you know what to do,,,,When hot, you don't know if there are gases in the line, or fuel, or how much, how hot,,,,pure magic.
